RIO PUERCO SWITCHING STATION
Brasher & Lorenz, Inc. prepared the design for the expansion of an existing electric switching station for the Public Service Company of New Mexico in Sandoval County, New Mexico. The original station, designed by Brasher & Lorenz in 1995, is being expanded to enclose a 40-acre switchyard with an earthen berm as high as 50 feet to protect the switchyard components from gunshot vandalism from within one half mile of its remote location. The project entails design of yard grading and drainage for over 630,000 cubic yards of cut-to-fill earthwork, establishment of construction surveys control, and construction management and inspection. |

MESA DEL SOL ELEVATED WATER TANK
Brasher & Lorenz, Inc. served a Construction Managers
of this 2.0 million gallon elevated reservoir ($3.2 Million)
constructed at Mesa Del Sol, in Albuquerque, New
Mexico. The Design-Build project included construction
of a reinforced concrete pedestal, 2.0 million gallon
elevated water tank, skid mounted pump station,
supply and distribution piping system and all related site
work. The project represents the first reservoir in the
Mesa Del Sol Masterplan Development Area, and the
only elevated water tank in the Albuquerque Bernalillo
County Water Utility Authority system. |

IMPROVEMENTS
Brasher & Lorenz, Inc. is currently under
contract as Construction Managers and
Dry Utility Coordinators of the Mesa Del
Sol Masterplan Development Area.
Mesa Del Sol is a 12,900-acre Masterplan
Community located in southeast
Albuquerque. Initial development consists
of $20 million of public infrastructure within
the Mesa Del Sol Employment Center,
supporting development of Schott Solar,
Fidelity Financial, Molina Healthcare, Advent
Solar and ABQ Studios. |

recently completed the layout for the
production lines within the Receiver and
Modular Buildings for Schott Solar, Inc at
Mesa Del Sol. The Schott Solar
Albuquerque, New Mexico facility manufactures
Photovoltaic odules and Solar Receivers. |
